Get the Know-How on Makeup Brushes

Hello Girls!

Anyone with a passion for makeup will have a wide array of makeup brushes and applicators at their disposal! They often purchase individual pieces and brush sets. Those with a limited budget can not build their collection with a free hand. At one time, I also wondered which makeup brushes were absolutely essential. I would spend a lot of time in-store and online reading different reviews on makeup sets and I realized it's not necessary to purchase a makeup bag with 18 brush pockets.
Here's a break-down on makeup brushes one can not do without:

Makeup Brushes

Foundation Brush
The foundation brush can be used to apply primer and to blend foundation properly on your face.

Powder Brush
The powder brush is used to apply face loose or pressed powder on face or body.

Blusher Brush
The blusher brush is used to sweep both cream and powder texture blush across your cheeks.

Eyeliner Brush
The eyeliner bushes can be used to draw precise thick or thin lines on your eyes.

Eye Brow Brush &Comb
  • The eyebrow brush is used to emphasize your brows with black or brown color enhancement.
  • The comb is used to remove mascara clumps.

Lipstick Brush
  • The lipstick brush is used to define the lip contour. You can evenly apply lipstick or lip gloss.
  • You can also use it as a concealer brush to cover blemishes and other imperfections on your face.

Fan Brush
The fan brush removes excess eye shadow fallout and gently sweeps illuminator or bronzer on the face.

The Tricky Part

There is a huge assortment for eye shadow brushes. You can find sets which contain eye shadow blending brush, smudge brush, and tapered eye shadow brush. These 3 are the most common types. If you are on a strict budget, then a smudger brush does the job!
