Turn Heads with Skin Whitening Facial!

With a wedding around the corner, all eyes may be on the bride but that's no reason to skip a whitening facial. After all, you'd never know whom will you meet and how your destinies will collide. For big occasions, you need to be able to turn heads. Getting a good hairdo and the latest party gown may work in your favor but if you really want to make a lasting impression then have a whitening facial done a day before the big event. After all, young girls like ourselves should look attractive and fresh. 

A whitening facial helps us maintain our beauty in many ways. First of all, it thoroughly removes dirt and impurities from our face in ways a much-hyped facial wash or beauty soap isn't able to. Secondly, skin facials also prevent acne and wrinkle formation on our face and necks. With such great benefits, no wonder why beauty parlors charge an arm and leg. However, not everyone is able to afford expensive skin facials. It is said that a person should get a treatment done every three weeks. If this isn't feasible, then I suggest to get a skin facial done at home. 

It will take time to learn all the steps but it's best to practice gradually. Ask a friend/family member to lie down on a pillow. Have them wear a headband so unwanted hairs will not fall over the face and cause delays. If you're using a fabric headband with a velcro strip, you'll realize that the velcro strip may not be able to remain closed throughout the 30 minute skin facial. Inserting a bobby pin will help keep the headband wrapped around your head. Now, apply whitening bleach cream. Bleach cream is used prior to doing a home facial as it helps to removes impurities. In my prior post, I'd suggested to wash the bleach after 15 minutes.

Once the face is completely dried, you're ready to begin the whitening facial. But what will you need? Grab a bowl and fill it with both ice-cubes and water. Ice-cold water has many benefits. Apart from cleansing your face, it will also tighten skin and minimize the appearance of wrinkles. Next, get your whitening facial items ready. You can purchase a kit, which contains the following items or buy them individually. Which kit is right for you? It depends on what your vendor sells and what SKU you're interested in acquiring. Popular companies in Pakistan are Soft Touch, Golden Pearl, Blesso and Dermacos. 

What does a skin facial kit include?

• ·      Facial wash
• ·      Cleansing milk
• ·      Massage cream
• ·      Scrub
• ·      Blackhead remover cream/ Blackhead remover tool
• ·      Mask
• ·      Toner

You’ll start with the facial wash. Apply a generous amount to your neck and face. Rub the facial wash with upward strokes. Once you’ve massaged your neck and shoulders, head to your chin. In a circular motion, massage your chin, upper lip area, nose, cheeks and forehead. Now use a facial sponge and remove the facial wash with water. The next step is to use the cleansing milk. You need to repeat the aforementioned steps for 5 minutes. Afterwards, use a facial sponge to remove the cleansing milk. Now, use the massage cream in a similar manner for approximately 10 minutes. You can now ask your friend/family member to sit up. Face the person’s back and rub their neck and shoulders. This step will help remove dirt and impurities from that area.

You can additionally give them a back massage if you’d like. In each step, mix each component with a little water. You don’t want to work with a heavy lather as moving your hands around the face will prove difficult. If the person has dark circles, you can massage their eyes with the facial wash, cleansing milk, and massage cream. Once the massage cream is taken off, use a scrub. As the scrub contains granular substance, do not massage it on the eyes!

Once you removed the scrub, use a blackhead remover tool or a blackhead remover cream. If you’re using the tool, grab a tissue so you can wipe off blackheads or whiteheads that will accumulate onto it! I personally like Golden Perl blackhead remover cream. I apply its’ black substance to my nose and the area beneath my chin. Once dried, I slowly peel it off. My skin looks squeaky clean! You can use the blackhead remover tool and cream together if you’d like. Finish off the home facial with a mask. Apply a generous amount and leave to dry. Wash it off with ice-cold water. On a cotton ball, apply some toner and now pat your face with it. Your facial is now finished! You can also apply moisturizer.
